Personality/Gimmick

Known for his charisma, Cole is an energetic and enthusiastic young performer, though humble and respectful at the same time, eager to learn and improve his skills.

Style

Cole’s offence is based around his incredible natural athleticism and thus he utilizes a number of explosive moves, whether they be kicks, suplexes, slams, or dives from the top rope or to the outside. His two finishers of choice are both high-impact head-drops.

Career Summary

For nearly a year and a half Cole made occasional appearances on ROH pre-shows and dark matches. His performances in these, as well as his rapidly rising stock elsewhere in wrestling, led to him being signed to a contract by ROH.

Cole chose to form a tag team with fellow new-signee Kyle O’Reilly, winning a pair of tag team matches against low-level competition, and losing to established teams The All-Night Express and Kevin Steen and Steve Corino. Cole entered the 2010 Survival of the Fittest and pulled off an upset victory against the veteran Steve Corino. He was the second man elimnated in the finals however.

Current Storylines

With so much turnover in the ROH roster in the last year, Cole feels there are spots that he can fill. His team with O’Reilly will act as that springboard, as Cole’s aspirations are in singles glory not too far down the road. Given his natural aptitude, many believe it won’t be long until Cole fulfils these aspirations.
