Young and extremely hungry for success, O’Reilly models himself after his trainer Davey Richards, soft-spoken outside of the ring, an animal inside it. Though quiet, O’Reilly is slightly more upbeat than his mentor.

Fashioning himself after an MMA fighter, O’Reilly is well versed in a plethora of kicks and submissions, as well as suplexes. Athletically gifted and fearless, he is quick to take to the air as well.

Career Summary

After a few isolated appearances on ROH On HDNet – notably in a losing effort against Chris Hero and a win over Tony Kozina – and dark matches at live events, O’Reilly impressed ROH management enough to be signed to a contract. Three days before his signing he was defeated by ROH veteran and two-time World Champion Austin Aries.

O’Reilly chose to form a tag team with fellow new-signee Adam Cole, winning a pair of tag team matches against low-level competition, and losing to established teams The All-Night Express and Kevin Steen and Steve Corino. O’Reilly entered the 2010 Survival of the Fittest but lost his qualifying match against Kevin Steen.

Current Storylines

With so much turnover in the ROH roster in the last year, O’Reilly feels there are spots that he can fill, and perhaps even mimic the career of his trainer Davey Richards and rise to the top of the card. His team with Adam Cole will act as that springboard, as O’Reilly’s aspirations are in singles glory not too far down the road.
